Exhibition “I’m in a Terrible Bad Mood” at BBK Kunstforum Düsseldorf

In times of societal division, political uncertainty, and tangible crises, being in a bad mood is no longer just a fleeting state of mind—it has become a constant companion in our everyday lives. It is precisely this condition that the exhibition “I’m in a Terrible Bad Mood” addresses.

Navigating between frustration, overwhelm, and quiet exhaustion, the participating artists shed light on negative emotions in all their facets. Whether loud and angry or quiet and heavy, the artworks approach the theme from personal as well as societal perspectives—unvarnished, contradictory, and at times surprisingly humorous. Rather than offering quick fixes or smoothing over emotions, the exhibition brings to light what is so often suppressed or masked in daily life.

I am represented in the exhibition with a large-format artwork.
